Success of self-help groups

Self help groups are organizations formed by people with a common problem or situation, for the purpose of pooling resources, gathering information and offering mutual support or service or care. Performance of self help groups depend upon the awareness of members about overall group objectives as well as the capacity of the group to develop members' managerial and technical skills.
