Screen time is a time that is spent in front of a screen, such as TV, computer, mobile phone or videogame player. It is an activity which involves less energy and creativity. It has been observed that children's overall screen time has doubled in thepast few years. Earlier, children use to spend 2-3 hours a day watching TV. But now-a-days, if we add other screen time activities such as smart phones, computers or video games, it becomes 6-7 hours a day.
