Growing of Celery

CELERY is cultivated in Punjab during the Rabi season in districts of Jalandhar, Amritsar and Kapurthala. Punjab contributes more than 90% in the total production of celery of India. Celery seed is used in medicines and confectionary goods. Celery seed is exported to earn foreign exchange. The demand of celery seed is increasing. To get maximum yield of celery the following improved practices should be adopted.
