摘要

SOYBEAN is leguminous plant and is considered nutritionally superior because of its high protein and oil contents. It is cheap source of protein and enogy in human diets, particularly to ment the needs of vegetarians. Soybean grows in a variety of soils hanging from high sandy soils in Rajastltan to black cotton soils in Madhy Pradesh. The farm families, which grow soybean, are not aware of utilizing soybean in their diet. Soybean contains about 40 percent proteins, 20 percent fat, 35 percent carbohydrates and 5 percent minerals. Soybean protein has all eight amino adds which our body needs.
