摘要

A mixture of honey, ginger juice and black pepper powder in equal quantities when consumed thrice daily helps to relieve of asthma. HONEY is nature's gift to mankind. Honey contains glucose 25-37 per cent, fructose 34-43 per cent, sucrose 0.5-3 per cent and maltose 5-12 per cent. The 100 grms of honey contains; protein 0.3 gms, fat 0, mineral 0.2 gms, carbohydrates 79.5 gm, energy 319 Kcal, calcium 5 mgs, phosphorous 15 mgs and iron 0.696 mgs. Honey it contains a host of antioxidants, which eliminatefree radicals. Free radicals are created through the normal process of metabolism and contribute to many serious diseases. Various ingredients of honey have helped it to become not only a sweet liquid but also a natural product with high nutritional and medicinal value.
