The clean milk production shall considerably depend on the health and cleanliness of milker. He/she should be free from disease and nails be clean and clipped to avoid, injury to teats. Hands should be washed with antiseptic solution before and aftermilking. Although 90 percent of milk is produced in the rural areas of India but, little care is taken by the producer for production of clean milk. Most of the bacteria and other micro-organism in milk die during boiling but the toxins produced by these organisms can be harmful to the health of consumer. Dairy farmers should keep in mind the following tips in order to obtain clean milk.
