摘要

Fresh-cut produce is ready-to-eat or ready-to-cook material prepared from raw vegetables or fruits after rem val of undesired parts like leaves, stalks, depodding, peeling coking chopping, cutting or slicing or dicing. The prepared materials are packaged in polythene bags of suitable size and handled at 0°C-5°C during transportation or storage. No preservative or additive is used though some acceptable treatments can be used for extension of shelf life.
