GREEN fodders are the natural feeds for the cattle and buffab which provide nutrients for maintenance, production and to provide the bulk which is necessary to fill up their capacious stomach. It is well known that animal husbandry has made tremendousprogress in those countries where diet of dairy animals is built around an assured supply of good quality fodders round the grass. This is due to the fact that fodders are a much cheaper and natural source of nutrients for dairy animals as compared to concentrates.
