Bob Metz doesn't raise any livestock on the fifth-generation corn and soybean farm he operates with his wife, Karen, and children near West Browns Valley, S.D. But Metz has become quite familiar during the last two decades with the feed value his soybean crop offers both domestic and international livestock customers. The United Soybean Board (USB) director has met with buyers on his farm and in offices overseas to discuss what U.S. soybeans bring to the table.
