Symmetrization of the Berezin star product and path-integral quantization

We propose a new star product which interpolates between the Berezin and Moyal quantizations. A multiple of this product is shown to reduce to a path-integral quantization in the continuous time limit. In flat space the action becomes that of free bosonic strings. The relation to the Kontsevich prescription is also discussed. [References: 24]
