Crude oil production up 6.3%; crude throughput rises 6.2%

Durig April-August 2002, crude oil production grew at an impressive rate of 6.3% as against 3.8% decline recorded in the corresponding period of 2001. In August the growth dropped steeply to 2% from 9% increase achieved in each month from May to July 2002.
