Chlorine output rises in august after declines for two months; soda ash output down

Chlorine production recorded a 4.1% year-on-year growth in August 2002, as against declines of 15.7% and 9% respectively in June and July. Production rose by 2.8% to 3.9 lakh tonnes during April-August 2002, as compared to growth of 4.1% in the same period of 2001.
