Susceptibility of selected lines to Fusarium cob rot in naturally infected corn.

摘要

In 2008 was realized the aim of which was etiological recognition of corn cob fusariosis. On the basis of examined material collected on experimental fields in Radzikow it was found that Fusarium verticillioides was predominating species. The fungus was isolated from 70% of cobs. Occurrence of F. verticillioides resulted in infection of corn cobs and reduced significantly the weight of 1 000 kernels.
