Monitoring of Caliroa annulipes Klug flights.

摘要

Caliroa annulipes is one of the most frequently occurring species in urban green areas. A detailed knowledge of pest biology is essential to determinary the optimal timing for pest control. Field studies were conducted in Poland to investigate the pest development and to work out a warning method for its appearance. The following methods were involved in the studies: insect catching with coloured sticky traps; pest rearing; and phenological observations. Data on adult individual flights as well as a map of pest development based on phenological observations were presented.
