Plant protection in different cropping systems and biological diversity.

摘要

Among organic, integrated and conventional production technologies, organic farming is the most environment-friendly, since synthetic fertilizers and plant protection products are not used. However, the area of organic farms in Poland covers approximately 2% of arable land; thus, it is very important to improve ecological knowledge among farmers and their advisers. The implementation of Good Agricultural Practice and Good Plant Protection Practice needs to be accelerated and, wherever possible, the agricultural environment has to be diversified by establishing various elements of ecological infrastructure.
