Phyllonorycter leucographella (Zeller) (Lepidoptera, Gracillariidae) an invasive species mining leaves of firethorn.

Studies on the occurrence of Phyllonorycter leucographella were conducted in Poznan, Poland, from 2007 to 2008. It was found that P. leucographella was quite common and occurred in all observed sites. The expansion of this species started in western Poland and continued in the northeast direction. Currently, the Vistula river is an eastern border-line of the pest occurrence.
