Possibilities of deltamethrine application for the control of cabbage crops.

Both the butterfly species large cabbage-white (Pieris brassicae) and small cabbage-white (P. rapae) are one of the most important pests on white cabbage plantations in Poland every year. The aim of presented study was to define effectiveness of new deltamethrin formulations (Decis Protech 015 EW and Decis 50 EW) for the control of P. brassicae and P. rapae. The results of the performed research revealed a high level of effectiveness for both tested formulations. It recorded 100% morality at 7 days after chemical treatment.
