Evaluation of efficacy of different fluroxypyr doses depending on Galium aparine infestation in winter wheat.

The research on efficacy of different fluroxypyr doses for the control of the weed species Galium aparine was carried out in 2004-2006 on experimental fields of the Institute of Soil Sciences and Plant Cultivation-State Research Institute in Wrocaw. The results of presented studies showed that G. aparine revealed diversified reaction to fluroxypyr depending on a dose of the product as well as on weed infestation. The full dose - 200 g/ha of fluroxypyr effectively reduced the fresh mass of the weed regardless of its infestation density. The minimal effective dose - 100 g/ha effectively controlled G. aparine in a wide range of weed infestation.
