In 2008, studies were carried out on the effect of sticky-traps with pheromones on the number of caught Cameraria ohridella moths and on the degree of leaf damage caused by larvae of this insect. Different number (1, 2, 5) of sticky-traps (delta type) with pheromones were used per one tree and observations were carried out every 7th and 14th day. Comparative studies were also performed using pheromones of Czech and Polish origin on their effectiveness in luring and catching of C. ohridella moths. The greatest number of insects was caught on trees, where 5 sticky-traps with pheromones were placed and where the traps were replaced every 7 days. Using this combination, 57.9% of all C. ohridella moths were caught. Trees of that combination showed the lowest percentage of leaf damages caused by larvae of C. ohridella. The sticky-traps with a pheromone dispenser of Czech production caught twice as many moths comparing to the Polish ones. The proportion of other caught organisms was low and amounted to 0.51%.
