Seed treatment efficacy for control of take-all and leaf diseases in winter wheat

Field experiments were conducted during 2002-04 in Poland, to determine leaf and root disease severity on winter wheat as affected by seed treatment. Take-all, powdery mildew and leaf spots were the main diseases occurring on winter wheat plants. The mean infection index for take-all and percentage of leaf diseases on winter wheat was higher when Maxim [carbendazim] 025 FS was applied compared to fluchinkonazol + prochloraz Cu (Jockey 201 FS) treatment..
