Species composition and occurrence dynamics of lygus bugs of marjoram crop (Origanum majorana L.).

In Origanum majorana, the occurrence of 4 species of bugs was found, i.e. Lygus rugulipennis, L. pratensis, L. punctatus and L. gemellatus. L. rugulipennis was the most numerous species and constituted 83.1% of all caught lygus bugs. The highest intensity of lygus bug numbers was recorded from the second decade of June to the second decade of August. In the period of O. majorana cultivation, 2 generations of lygus bugs were recorded.
