Comparison of chromatographic separation of selected sulfonylurea herbicides carried out by HPLC and RR-HPLC techniques.

Quality of chromatographic separation six sulfonylurea herbicides (thifensulfuron-methyl, triasulfuron, chlorsulfuron, rimsulfuron, amidosulfuron, tribenuron-methyl) carried out by HPLC and RR -HPLC (rapid resolution) was compared. Research had a model character. Quality of separation investigated herbicides was similar for both chromatographic techniques but RR-HPLC technique enables to shorten about seven times the time of analysis and gives the possibility of simplification of mobile phase from three to two components.
