The effect of simplified tillage methods and nitrogen fertilization on changes in weed infestation of spring weed.

Studies were carried out to determine the effects of simplified tillage methods (including deep ploughing, shallow ploughing, and disking) and nitrogen application (at 50 and 100 kg/ha) on changes in weed infestation of spring wheat. The use of the simplified tillage methods caused an increase in weed number and dry mass weight in wheat stands. No significant differences were recorded considering the levels of N and interaction of the factors.
