Efects of application of Mustang 306 SE in sugar maize

Field studies were conducted in Poland, from 2004 to 2005, to determine the effectiveness of the herbicides Azoprim 50 WP, Mustang 306 SE and Mustang 306 SE with Titus 25 WG (rimsulfuron) and Trend 90 EC in weed control and the influence of these herbicides on sugar maize yield. On control plots, the main weeds were Viola arvensis, Brassica napus, Chenopodium album, Polygonum convovulus, Echinochloa crus-galli and Geranium pusillum. Mustang 306 SE with Titus 25 WG and Trend 90 EC gave full control of C. album, B. napus and P. convovulus. The highest yields of cobs were observed after Mustang 306 SE with Titus 25 WG and Trend 90 EC application..
