Private-equity firm to merge H&R and dragoco

EQT Northern Europe Private Equity Funds has agreed to acquire Bayer's flavors and fragrances subsidiary,Haarmann & Reimer (H&R),for EURO1.66 billion.EQT says it will also acquire a minority stake in family owned flavors and fragrances firm Dragoco and combine H&R and Dragoco tocreate the fourth-largest flavors and fragrances group.
