The Surveyors' Tool Kit is a complete data collection/stakeout software suite recently made available for Hewlett-Packard's new calculator, the hp50g, which is the successor to the well known hp48. The software was designed to provide surveyors with a very complete set of solutions that covers a wide spectrum from very basic calculations through comprehensive traverse reduction, analysis and adjustment on to many varied cogo (cordinate geometry) solutions. It is as comfortable in an office setting as it is in field operation, being designed to perform all the calculations necessary to take a project from the beginning stages though completion.
