THE TANGENT PLANE INTERCEPT: A NEW METHOD IN PHASE EQUILIBRIUM CALCULATIONS

摘要

A new method for describing the equilibrium behaviour of multicomponent systems, based on an earlier approach originating from geometric programming, is proposed. The new emerging function, called by the authors the tangent plane intercept function, exhibits an array of interesting properties, proving itself as as a useful tool in some cases of non -trivial LLE calculations.
