摘要

In this paper an analytical method is developed to identify the Bouc-Wen model parameters from theexperimental data of periodic loading tests. The model parameters are determined by closed analyticalrelationships such as the predicted and experimental hysteresis loops to have exactly the samemaximum force values and coordinates of loop- axes crossing points. Asymmetric hystereticcharacteristics are modeled by sewing the solutions of two different Bouc-Wen equations,corresponding to negative and positive values of the imposed cyclic displacement. The methodefficiency is illustrated by its application to portraying the asymmetric hysteretic behavior of twovibration control devices.
