Consulting services for 10,000 tpd Cement Project of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL), in Andhra Pradesh, India

This paper presents the details of the consulting services, rendered by HOLTEC, for the recently commissioned, second 10,000 tpd cement project for jaiprakash Associates Limited (jaypee Group). The project known as jaypee Balaji Cement Project, set up in District Krishna, Andhra Pradesh (AP). The first 10,000 tpd project completed by HOLTEC for the jaypee group, was the jaypee Himachal Cement Project, Himachal Pradesh, India, commissioned in year 2010-11. HOLTEC has been associated with Jaypee group for all of its cement related ventures, since its entry in to the cement sector, in early 1983. Since then, Jaypee group has quickly progressed to emerge as the third largest cement player in India, closely following the other two groups, namely - HOLCIM India (combined capacity of ACC and Ambuja Cement units) and Ultratech (combined strength of Aditya Birla Group and Ultratech Cement units).
