Emergencies in the workplace are unforeseen and unwelcome events, but they can still be anticipated and addressed in advance. In work settings where chemicals, gases and other hazardous materials pose potential threats to life, limbs, eyes, skin and other body parts, it is critical that adequate facilities are available to provide relief to injured workers.
