Home Fire Sprinklers:the standard for home fire safety

Fire in the home poses one of the biggest threats to people and communities. During the five-year period of 2005 to 2009, U.S. fire departments responded to an estimated average of 373,900 home structure fires per year. These fires caused an annual average of 2,650 civilian deaths, 12,890 civilian fire injuries and $7.1 billion in direct property damage. Home fires accounted for 73% of all reported structure fires, 92% of civilian structure fire deaths, 86% of civilian structure fire injuries and 68% of direct structure fire property loss.
