R&D work in PDIL

摘要

R&D (Research & Development) work started way back in mid fifties, in erstwhile Planning & Development Division of Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited. During the early sixties, R&D work in PDIL came into reckoning as it had then provided excellent back-up support for sustained & steady production of fertilizers in the country. Though R&D work in PDIL had its beginning in some selected fields of catalyst research, by the end of sixties, R&D work had diversified into many areas, success of which contributed to the remarkable growth & Self-Reliance in Indian Fertilizer industry.
