As of Friday, June 19, 2015, the BakerHughes rig count in the U.S. was 857. Thisconsisted of 631 oil rigs and 226 gas rigs. Amonth ago the total U.S. rig count was 888with 660 rigs drilling for oil and 228 rigs drillingfor gas. In Canada, the rig count since the lastReport improved by 59 rigs to 136 – 74 oildirected, 62 gas directed.
