Acron (Velikii Novgorod,Russia),a producer of fertilizers,methanol,and methanol derivatives,says it will spend close to US1.4 billion over the next 10 years to modernize and expand manufacturing operations at its two sites at Novgorod and Dorogobuzh,Russia.About half of the estimated costs will be covered from internal resources and the rest through local and international loans,says Acron president Ivan N.Antonov.
