We don't need to tell you that a tank of gas costs more than it did in the not too distant past. But what about filling up a "tank" of heating oil or natural gas to power hydronic equipment? The price of crude oil hovers in the high-USD40 range as we write this in late July, about a quarter higher than the price a year ago. Economists worry that refiners may focus on producing higher-priced gas and diesel, putting a crimp in the supply of heating oil.
