U.S. pipe and tube mills operated at 44.4% of capacity in June. This is an increase of 0.6 percentage points from May. At this time last year, the average operating rate was 41.8% of a lower capacity number. These figures encompass all U.S. mills. To accompany the expansion in demand from customers, Tenaris has opened two new offices in the United States. An expanded commercial office in a new location in Oklahoma City will support OCTG and sucker rods customers with a dedicated technical staff.
