The Baker Hughes rig count for the U.S. as of Friday, April 20, 2013 totaled 1,758 which is 18 below the rig count we included in the March Report. Oil drilling stands at 1,371, up 30 from a month ago while gas drilling was 387, down 48 from last month. Drilling in Canada is reported at 126; down a whopping 377 from the total last month due to breakup.
