Two new species of Aphis L. (Hemiptera: Aphididae) from Argentina living on Asteraceae.

Two new Argentinean aphid species are described: Aphis coridifoliae sp. nov., on Baccharis coridifolia from Cordoba Province, and A. melosae sp. nov., on Grindelia chiloensis from Mendoza Province. The apterous and alate viviparous females of both species are described, and two forms of A. melosae apterae are distinguished: big and dwarf. Differences between the new species and other closely related species are given.
