IMC Shareholders Approve Merger With Cargill Crop Nutrition

IMC Global says its common shareholders have approved the proposed merger-of IMC with CargiU's Crop Nutrition unit last week(CW,Feb.4,p.9).The new name of the combined companies will be Mosaic(Minnetonka,MN).The deal was expected to close late last week.Mosaic is expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange this week.
