Preventive medicine: Back to the future

In a little-noticed technological development, researchers at an as yet publicly undisclosed tech company have discovered a way to send Internet messages into the future. A friend was kind enough to share a Beta version of the new software and I was able to communicate with some of my current public health students about their experiences in 2030. On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the current editors of Preventive Medicine, I am pleased to share two messages about the state of preventive medicine 18 years from now.
