Hiring a new salesperson is more complicated than just pulling in a few CVS, someone who is going to make a real difference needs to understand your strategy and will keep it pointed in the right direction. Sales are vital to any print business. The hum of the presses may be the heartbeat, ink may be the blood, but sales is the fuel that keeps the whole body of production moving forward. Even businesses that have reached a certain size and are just looking to maintain their current position will need to keep adding new customers to compensate for natural churn in their client roster. This is why salespeople are so important to the health of any given business and why choosing and retaining the right people should be high up on the list of priorities for any printer.
