Mitsui Chemicals has cut its profits estimate for the fiscal year ended March 31, citing higher than expected taw material prices and securities losses. The company forectasts net profits of ￥20 billion (us 167 million), down 28.6% from its earlier prediction of a ￥28-billion profit.
