EDITOR'S LETTER

Well the curtain came down on Friday the 6th September, 2013, on what can now be described as, truly, one of the world's major oil and gas exhibition and conferences. I am of course referring to SPE Offshore Europe 2013, held at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. According to the organizers, more than 63,000 people attended the four day event, from the 3-6 September inclusive, an increase of over 25% on the 2011 event.
