A growing Tyneside firm is said to be rewarding its workers for their support and loyalty during the toughest trading conditions in its 39 year history. As the order book grows again at Express Engineering, in Team Valley, the company has announced a 10.4% -12.5% pay rise for all of its skilled shop floor people - two thirds of the 200 of those employed at the site. Other workers and staff are also in line for an above inflation pay rise of between 5% -12.5%.
