Printing.com to 'template-empower' web print shops

Printing.com has said that it is looking to "template-empower" existing online print shops to counteract the "challenging" trading environment across its franchise network. A major new element of this strategy is the decision to license Template Cloud, which converts freelance designs for flyers, leaflets and business cards into editable online templates. Printing.com will grant licenses to other online printers to allow them to "bolt-on" the Template Cloud functionality at an upfront cost of ￡1,000 and an ongoing fee of between ￡5 and ￡20 when a template is used.
