Scotoil Services Expansion Allows Additional Laboratory Services to Customers

Scotoil recently announced that their existing laboratory has undergone a full refurbishment and expansion allowing the company to. not only carry out all the analysis required for their own site requirements, but also to offer extended services to their customers, not only in the oil and gas industry, but the wider waste sector. Scotoil now have two gamma spectrometers, one of which is fitted with an auto sampler to allow for continuous analysis. These machines are primarily used to analyse Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) samples, which include scales, sand, sludges and pig wax.
