Basf has announced a major restructuring of its plasticizers and intermediates business in europe.the plans include ceasing production there of the plasticizer diethylphthalate (DEHP),which is under environmental scrutiny,and the closure of most of the plants basf obtained in its 2001 acquisition of sisas.
