SAP says it has made a bid to lure customers away from PeopleSoft and its business unit J.D.Edwards by launching a "safe passage" program under which those customers can trade in their licenses for an SAP ERP license.The move comes just after Oracle's us10.3-billion acquisition of PeopleSoft last month.Oracle says it will support PeopleSoft and J.D.Edwards applications through at least 2013.
