摘要

The literature survey reviles that the polymerization of methacrylamide has been studied employing various redox pairs. Little work has been reported on the vinyl polymerization initialed by vanadium(v)/reductant redox pairs, but literature search revels that so for Vanadium(v)/ascorbic acid and Vanadium(v)/cysteine hydrochloride redox pairs have not been employed for the polymerization of methacrylamide. The most sticking feature of vanadium(v)/ascorbic acid redox pair is that the polymerization proceeds under atmospheric oxygen.
