Inttroduction Restorative resin composites have been widely used by most dentists for restoring anterior cavities. The use of these materials in posterior teeth has spread dramatically in this decade because patlents and dentists have sought better estetics, and concern about mercury pllution has reduced the use of amalgam restorations. The Amerlcan Dental aSsociation (ADA) described two categories of direct filling resin composites in specification No.27 (1).
